This week's assignment
1. Students will watch an in-class video presentation about ancient cave art, cave artists, and symbols used to represent early life/people. Students will create a sketch note during the video. Students will research the pigments used by early cave artists. Students will identify which minerals were used to create certain colors.
2. Students will research cave art images and make a rough draft of cave art that they would like to recreate for their first project.
3. Student will create and paint their own "cave art painting" on rock.
