In-class 

1. Browse and skim through Philippians by yourself.  

2. (Handwritten) Make a list of what you think are some of the big themes in this letter.

3. Create an outline for the book of Philippians.  The goal is that by looking at your outline, you have an idea of the structure and basic content.  Think of it as a movie trailer or table of contents of what is to come.

  Example:

1:1-1:4 (insert description)

1:5-1:11 (description)

1:12-1:22 (description) and so forth...

4. AFTER creating your outline, visit these links to edit and improve your outline.
