Question:  Beowulf is displaying a trust in both God and fate in this passage.  Have you found/Do you find yourself trusting in God, but also placing trust in other things that are of this world (i.e. youth, health, intelligence, personality, money, wit, parents, the future, etc).  Whether you do or do not, how do you refocus to place your trust solely in God?  What Scripture do you rely upon?
