feelings and logic

In my personal opinion I think that for a speech to be considered good it needs to have logic and feeling. But in my opinioin I think that feeling is more important because you want the audience to know that you really have feelings and care about whatever it is that you are giving a speech about. You know when you cross the line when logic or feelings start to take over the other one and you are more focused in on one of them.

I agree with this Briggs, it is good to know that the speaker really does care about the topic they are speaking about.

I agree, that balance between logic and feeling is really important. I like how you pointed out that you want to show the audience that you truly care about what you are speaking about!

This is a great view point. I'd say you can allow for a little bit of takeover from one or another but its true you would not want a large overstep.

I agree, if an audience can tell that a speaker doesn't have the passion, it is not nearly as interesting. In order to pull an audience in, they must be into what they are speaking about.
