Logic/Feeling

I believe having a speech that is solely based on feelings, and not logic can end up having a lot of fallacies and bias. So I don't think we should rely more on feeling but more on logic and the facts. But if your speaking about something that holds a lot of meaning to you like family I feel like having more emotion is better in that situation. Focusing on feeling is good to do though because it addresses the whole human being not the rational part, and it helps the audience understand you as a person more.

this is good Grayson. I also agree that if the speech is more based on feelings than the person speaking will only focus in on what they think and not what others think.

Fantastic work gray. I love your phrasing at the end of the paragraph when you talk about emotions appealing to the whole person and not just a rational part very interesting.

I think that logic does have a part and can help balance, but I also think that logic should not precede how much feelings are also utilized. The speaker should have an identity, and be able to express it.
