Chapter 4 Response

1) I landed on my topic (the complexity of the game of golf) because it is something that I definitely have interest in and am very passionate about. I was led to this train of thought because of a past speech that talked about golf almost like it was a simple, easy sport.

2) Soothing that I have done in the past and will continue to do is ask my mom for a good topic. She probably knows me better than anyone so she is a great person to ask for topic ideas.

I thought your speech was very good and you looked like you wanted to be talking about that topic.

Asking a parent for a topic is a smart choice, especially when she's an English teacher! I also like how our first topic was about something you are very passionate about!

Your mom is a very wise woman, and I as well will go to her for advice. I think golf is something you are quite passionate about so that would be very easy for you to inform us about golf.

Asking someone who knows you very well is a great idea for choosing a topic that you are passionate about, especially because it's easy to overlook those things in ourselves.

Asking someone else for help on a topic is a great idea. My parents are chalk full of information so I am sure that they would be of great use to be. Also. I agree, golf is very complex.
