- I chose the Chicago Bears as my topic for my opinion speech because the Bears are actually something that I know detailed descriptions about, and it was something that I actually cared about. I was on this train of thought because the NFL season had just started and there was a lot of hype for the Bears to finally be good going into the season.
- For future use in presentations I am going to try and prepare for my topic and the topic that I will choose will be something that I know a lot about and a topic that I care about so I can have more enthusiasm during my speech.
I agree that it's important to choose a topic you already know a lot about. You can always tell when someone is speaking about their favorite topic because they're more excited to actually deliver the speech.
I am sorry that the bears let you down the night before your speech. I think you do well with things you are passionate about so I think you will have many great speeches ahead of you should you choose topics you know and care about.
