Chapter 4 Response

For my opinion speech, I decided to write about why I think the amount of homework given should be decreased. When I was brainstorming ideas, I was thinking about what would be relatable to my audience. Since I am speaking to a group of fellow seniors, it is important to have their attention. When it comes to future speeches, I think it is very important to choose a topic that I am passionate about. If there is no passion, the speech will come across emotionless. It is also important to choose a topic that you know will have evidence and research supporting it.
