Hypercognition and Absorbing Information

Hypercognition and Absorbing Information

I believe there are two schools of thought here. On one hand, yes, the more detailed the information the more precise it will be, but on the other hand it is increasingly harder to engage audiences enough to fully absorb the information. I believe that utilizing a mixture of both is the best option. Sure it may be more work for the one informing, but it would net the most success in the audience. For example, say one day you incorporate slides and a bunch of visual aid, and the next you incite a deep thinking opportunity. However, there may be problems in how some days might not be as effective as others for some members of the audience. I think you have to know your audience and trust them enough for good discretion to be used in how one informs.

I love the way you put this! I completely agree! There are most definitely two parts of the situation that really do depend on the situation and how to plug both into your speech! Great job!
