Expressing goodwill is never a negative thing and is infact connecting you to your audience at a deeper level. This could be done in a speech by actually expressing emotion or a real investment into your topic. I think that this shows your audience that you are passionate not only about the topic but also to sharing it with them creating a bond. In my next speech I will attempt to create a stronger sense of goodwill by executing this emotion.
