Fellow members of the jury,
I come to you today to propose a solution to the problem that our dearest producers face. There is a competitor that is overstepping into the rightful territory of the producer and infringing upon our economy's health. This foe is sleep. Sleep consumes our lives. People only have 24 hours in a day, and seven to eight of these are wasted to sleep. How can we allow this to continue?
The producer is continually interrupted by fatigue and tiredness. If we band together to petition against sleep, ridding our lives of this waste of time, we would indeed be improving our economy for both the producer and the average person. Look at it this way. One's production is brought to a halt when employees and employers go to sleep. However, getting rid of sleep frees up time for more people to work and to produce all of the time. No second would be wasted for producers with employees that do not sleep. Also, this benefits the average person by freeing their time to do things that they enjoy.
It is extremely economical for every individual to get rid of sleep. Maximizing the use of our time, rather than wasting seven to eight hours every day on sleep. I urge you all to consider my petition. Remember, that every minute you delay my suggestion, means that more and more people are wasting their time on sleep when they could be economizing their time and work more efficiently.
Thank you,
Alyssa
